Blue Scales

I flew over the huge city the mortals called Barron.

My wings glistened in the sunlight as they swung lightly up and down.

My scales clinked quietly against each other.

The sun was setting beautifully.

I blew fire to the sun, letting out a small roar to satisfy myself.

Fire against fire.

Beautiful.

And there would be more fire soon.

I smiled a little inside.

I was on a mission to destroy a little village called Knox.

I was sent by the King Red Scales himself.

He wanted to take revenge on the mortals that killed his son.

Fools, those mortals. Didn't they know dragons loved to take revenge. That we didn't have any mercy?

I could see Knox in the horizon, and I started to fly lower, faster, and silently.

I flew to the tallest structure.

A breath of fire was all it took.

Mortals ran screaming out of their houses, crying to their people.

My Mortal Voice was strong as it bounded across the small village.

"Mortals!I have come for revenge. You have murdered King Red Scales son! You will all parish for your hideous actions!"

The mortals ran for the gate of the city.

Don't you love when they run?

A quick breath of fire and the village of Knox was no more.

I let out a fearsome roar, making sure neighboring villages could hear me.

I flew out into the night sky.

Someday, the mortals will be fearing my name.
